The Central Statistics Agency of Batang Regency holds a 2020 Population Census Coordination Meeting of Batang Regency (Rakorkab) on Monday, 17 February 2020 at the Batang Regent Hall. The Rakorkab was attended by the Regent of Batang, H. Dr. Wihaji, S.Ag., M.Pd., Ir. Sri Diastuti, MM (Head of BPS Production Statistics in Central Java Province), ranks of OPD and Camats throughout Batang Regency.
The SP2020 Rakorkab was opened by Batang Regent, H. Wihaji, S.Ag., M.Pd. In opening the Rakorkab, Wihaji said that the SP2020 result data would be very useful as a basis for making regulations in Batang Regency. "Data is the main force of development," he said. Wihaji also invited all of his staff to help and provide direction to jointly succeed SP2020.
The event continued with material presentation by three presenters, moderated by Darsono. The first speaker was Ir. Sri Diastuti, M.M., Head of BPS Production Statistics in Central Java Province with the material Population Census 2020 (SP2020) Towards an Indonesian Population Data.
The second speaker was Drs. Jamal Abdul Naser, M.M., head of the Office of Communication and Information with the material of the Batang Regency Government in supporting the 2020 Population Census. The local government is ready to help succeed and support the implementation of SP2020. The support provided is in the form of infrastructure support (providing internet access to the villages) and support for publication both through print and electronic media.
Furthermore, the third material was delivered by the Head of the Population and Recording Office of Cipil, Muhammad Abdul Rahman, S.H., M.M. To realize an Indonesian population data, Disdukcapil is ready to support the implementation of SP2020.
In addition to delivering material about SP2020 and the participation of the WTO in the implementation of SP2020, an online filling with SP was also carried out by an invitee present accompanied by BPS Batang.
Rakorkab is one of a series of events in the implementation of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) which aims as a means of coordinating with the WTO to jointly succeed SP2020 in Batang Regency. After the Rakorkab implementation, BPS will hold a District Coordination Meeting (Rakorcam) to socialize the SP2020 activities to the villages in Batang Regency.
