Data collection for Sakernas February 2024 has entered the end of the data collection period. A look back at the series of Sakernas data collection activities starting with updating the sample Census Block on 25 January-8 February 2024 and continued with data collection on sample households on 15 February-7 March 2024. There are 170 sample households in Batang Regency spread across 11 sub-districts.

The SAKERNAS data collection this time is different from before because it uses the Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) mode with the FASIH application. To improve data quality, the Supervisory Officer (PML) provides initial assistance to the Enumerator Officer (PCL). Apart from that, a Field Activity Evaluation was also held on the second day of data collection to jointly evaluate and find solutions to the obstacles found in the field.

In general, SAKERNAS February 2024 aims to provide continuous basic employment data, more specifically to obtain data estimates on the number of employed people, unemployment and other employment indicators, as well as developments at the national and provincial levels.
