Routine Morning Call Every 17th

On Wednesday (17/07), BPS Batang Regency held a routine Morning Call which is held every 17th. All State Civil Apparatus within BPS gathered to ensure work readiness and discipline. This activity is a form of coordination in order to foster a spirit of togetherness and responsibility in carrying out duties.

This morning's rally was chaired directly by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. In his address he said that BPS not only carries out routine activities but also the OECD (_The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development_) agenda. The agenda of this international organization is to work to build evidence based international standards and find solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges. Becoming OECD membership provides strategic benefits for Indonesia, including as a catalyst for domestic reform, increasing investment attractiveness, being able to participate in the formation of OECD standards, being a signal that Indonesia is transforming towards a developed country, and increasing Indonesia's influence at the global level.

Specifically for BPS, Indonesia's participation in the OECD is useful as an acceleration of BPS's transformation in strengthening the development of the National Statistical System through implementing international standard statistics, providing opportunities to share and interact with OECD experts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. BPS Batang Regency is committed to playing an active role in implementing this activity in supporting the transformation of statistical development.
