Area Sample Frame Survey (KSA)

There is special excitement in one of the Batang Regency BPS activities at the end of July 2024, namely the implementation of the Area Sample Frame (KSA) survey. The KSA survey is one of the tasks of BPS to obtain data regarding the harvested area of rice and corn crops. This KSA survey is also to determine the development of rice and corn food crop phases, as well as as a basic reference for rice tile samples. The KSA BPS Batang Regency survey sample consisted of 49 rice segments and 60 corn segments.

Every officer from BPS Batang Regency on the last week of every month must go to the rice fields or fields to look for observation points in each segment. Officers are always enthusiastic about completing the tasks they carry out in order to provide quality and timely data, so whatever the conditions, they are still resolved well so that food data is maintained well. Well, it is not uncommon for the terrain to be traversed to be quite difficult. So, sometimes officers need a "hold" (ed: grip).
