National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Field Evaluation Meeting August 2024.

On Thursday (29/08) BPS Batang Regency held a Field Evaluation Meeting for the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) August 2024. This activity was attended by all Field Officers, both Field Enumerators or Field Supervisors/Inspectors, and also supervisors. This activity was held as a means of discussion on findings in the field, especially anomalies or irregularities in data from the completed field enumeration.

The evaluation was led directly by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. In his direction, Djumadi said that anomalies or irregularities in data need to be followed up immediately, whether they are in accordance with conditions in the field or there is a measurement concept error from the officer. Djumadi emphasized that if there is an error in just one respondent, it can have an impact on hundreds or even thousands of errors in aggregate considering that the scope of the August Sakernas estimate is an estimate at the district/city level. The event continued with a joint check with the facilitator, namely the Sakernas Regional Instructor Akmal Setiawan and the Head of the Sakernas Team, Een Qurotul Aeni.

It is hoped that this activity can be a means for sharing and finding joint solutions to improve the quality of the August 2024 Sakernas data.
