Hi data friends, did you know that every September 21st is celebrated as World Peace Day? Referring to the official website of the United Nations (UN), World Peace Day 2024 carries the theme "_Cultivating a Culture of Peace_" or "Building a Culture of Peace".

World Peace Day or International Peace Day was first established in 1981 by the UN General Assembly. This commemoration was held initially through Resolution 36/67 on September 30 1981, which then required all the world at war to observe a ceasefire.

This year's commemoration of World Peace Day also marks the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration and Program of Action on a Culture of Peace by the UN General Assembly.
