At BPS, data quality is the main thing that is always maintained. Any data collected must truly reflect real conditions in the field, so that it can accurately describe the facts and phenomena that occur. Starting from planning, collecting, processing, to serving, every stage is closely monitored so that the results are accurate and trustworthy.
Currently, BPS Batang Regency is carrying out data processing for the March and Seruti Quarter I 2025 Susenas data. Within the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) framework, this data processing is included in the process stage, namely after the collect or data collection stage has been completed.
Before entering the processing stage, the document is first checked by the Supervisor/Field Examiner (PML) and goes through an editing and coding process through the LAPIS MILK worksheet (Susenas Seruti Results Inspection Worksheet). The processing itself is carried out using a conveyor belt system, involving statistical partners as data entry officers and the BPS Batang Regency IPDS team as supervisors.
The system used is client-server based. In the initial stage, operators focus on entering and transferring data, while validation is the job of organic officers and PML to ensure that the data meets established quality standards. Hopefully this processing process runs smoothly, is completed on time, and the final results are clean according to the concept and definition of measurement.
