Allah SWT, the Most Merciful, guarantees sustenance for every creature without exception, as His word says:

"And there is no creature on earth but that upon Allah is its sustenance." (QS. Hud: 6).

However, as explained by Ibn Hajar Al-'Asqalani, the guarantee of sustenance from Allah does not mean that someone may abandon their efforts and only rely on what other creatures obtain. In fact, abandoning efforts contradicts the concept of tawakkal itself.

In carrying out a job, we are reminded to always develop our competence. This competence does not only talk about the technical skills that we have, but also about work ethics, responsibility, and professional attitudes that underlie every action we take in the workplace.
