In order to improve the quality of statistical governance in Batang Regency, BPS Batang Regency collaborated with the Communication and Informatics Office and Bappelitbang Batang Regency to hold Sectoral Statistics Guidance (12/3). This activity aims to assist the Population and Civil Registration Office and the Health Office in organizing better and standardized sectoral statistics.
In this third session, participants gained an understanding of the Statistics Business Process, which consists of the following stages:
📌 Identify Needs (Specify Needs)
📌 Design
📌 Implementation of the Design (Build)
📌 Data Collection (Collect)
📌 Data Processing (Process)
📌 Analysis (Analyze)
📌 Dissemination (Disseminate)
📌 Evaluation (Evaluate)
Young Expert Statisticians of BPS Batang Regency, Mustofa and Anis Yuliastuti, delivered material related to the implementation of the above business process and the strategy for collecting examples of supporting evidence needed in the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) agenda. The implementation of a systematic statistics business process will facilitate statistical governance, increase cost and human resource efficiency, and produce quality data.
With this coaching, it is hoped that the statistics business process in the Batang Regency local government environment will be increasingly optimal so that it is able to support policy making that is data-based and oriented towards regional development.
