Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi, was also present at the Simultaneous Rice Harvest activity which was centered in Depok Village, Kandeman District, on Monday, April 7 2025. This activity was part of the National Rice Harvest which was carried out simultaneously in 174 districts/cities and led virtually by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto from Majalengka, West Java. In Batang Regency, the harvest was held on 8 hectares of land, attended by a number of regional officials such as the Chair of the Batang DPRD, Su'udi, the Head of the Batang Regency Food and Agriculture Service, Sutadi Ronodipuro, Dandim 0736 represented by Kasdim, Danramil 012 Tulis District, Kandeman District Police Chief, Kandeman District Head Kusrin, Depok Village Head, as well as the leadership of Perum BULOG Tegal Branch Office.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS Batang said that BPS continues to monitor the development of rice production by providing reliable statistical data. Based on the results of measurements carried out by BPS, rice productivity in Batang Regency this year shows a positive trend with an achievement of close to 6 tons per hectare. Djumadi added that the absence of the impact of El Nino this year was an important factor driving increased production output. It is hoped that accurate statistical data can be the basis for formulating strategic policies, including maintaining price stability and strengthening national food security.
