Abstract

The fixed figure for rice production in 2014 in Central Java reached 9.65 million tons of Dry Milled Grain (GKG), experiencing a production decline of -6.73 percent compared to 2013 with a production of 10.35 million tons of GKG. The decline in production was influenced by the decline in harvested area which reached 44.54 thousand hectares. Forecast Figure (ARAM) I in 2015, the production figure is estimated at 10.60 million tons of GKG, or experiencing an increase in production of 9.89 percent or 954.47 thousand tons of GKG compared to 2014.
