Abstract

Pada bulan Maret 2016 di Kabupaten Batang terjadi Inflasi sebesar 0,31 persen dengan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) sebesar 119,65 lebih tinggi dari bulan Februari yaitu 119,29. Nasional inflasi 0,19 persen dengan IHK 123,75 dan Jawa Tengah inflasi 0,39 persen dengan IHK 122,60.Inflasi terjadi disebabkan karena adanya kenaikan harga yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan indeks pada semua kelompok pengeluaran yaitu: kelompok bahan makanan ; kelompok makanan jadi, minuman, rokok dan tembakau ; kelompok perumahan, air, listrik & gas ; kelompok sandang ; kelompok kesehatan ; kelompok pendidikan, rekreasi & olah raga serta kelompok transport dan komunikasi .
