Abstract

In May 2016 in Batang occurred at 0.19 percent inflation by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 119.36 is higher than in April, namely 119.14. National inflation is 0.24 percent with CPI of 123.48 and Central Java CPI inflation of 0.13 percent with 122.20.

Inflation of 0.19 percent influenced by rising commodity prices on the four types of expenses, food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.77 percent; housing, water, electricity and gas 0.03 per cent; health group 0.12 per cent and the group of transport and communication 0.15 percent. For expenditure groups groceries this month index value decreased by 0.09 percent, while clothing and education, recreation and sport relatively stable this month.
