Abstract

The ITK value in Central Java in Quarter II-2016 was 106.66, which means that the economic conditions of households in Central Java improved compared to the previous quarter. The level of household optimism was also better compared to the previous quarter. The improvement in the economic conditions of households was mainly driven by the increasing volume of consumption of goods and services, which is reflected in the index value of 110.36. Low inflation also contributed to the consumer economy, as reflected in the Index of the influence of inflation on the level of consumption, which was 107.70. The ITK value of Central Java in Quarter III-2016 was estimated at 110.09, meaning that consumers perceived the economic conditions to improve.
