Abstract

The economy of Central Java as measured by the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the second quarter of 2016 reached Rp273,274.79 billion and at constant prices in 2010 reached Rp212,321.52 billion. The economy of Central Java in the second quarter of 2016 grew 5.75 percent y-on-y, an increase compared to the same period in 2015 which was 5.06 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Mining and Quarrying Category at 15.26 percent and in terms of expenditure it was achieved by LNPRT Consumption Expenditure which grew 9.04 percent.
