Abstract

The export value of Central Java in August 2016 was US$ 449.18 million or increased by 56.33 percent compared to exports in July 2016 (US$ 287.33 million). Meanwhile, when compared to August 2015 (year on year), Central Java's exports increased by US$ 4.18 million (0.94 percent). Cumulative exports from January to August 2016 reached US$ 3,531.77 million, down 2.74 percent from cumulative exports from January to August 2015 (US$ 5,374.70 million).

The import value of Central Java in August 2016 reached US$ 752.64 million, up 17.57 percent compared to imports in July 2016 (US$ 640.14 million). When compared to August 2015 (year on year) the import value in August 2016 decreased by 24.49 percent (US$244.04 million). Cumulative imports in January-August 2016 reached US$5,739.00 million, down 24.77 percent from cumulative exports in January-August 2015 (US$7,628.80 million)
