Abstract

The ITK value in Central Java in Quarter II-2017 was 114.74, which means that the economic conditions of households in Central Java have increased compared to the previous quarter. The increase in the economic conditions of households is mainly due to the increase in the volume of consumption of goods and services as reflected in the value of the index of 125.27. Household income also drives the consumer economy, as reflected in the current household income index of 109.53.

Meanwhile, although prices tend to increase in this quarter, it does not affect public consumption. This is reflected in the index figure for the influence of inflation on consumption, which is 116.22.

The ITK value of Central Java in Quarter III-2017 is estimated at 101.08, meaning that economic conditions are perceived by consumers to have increased but not as optimistic as compared to Quarter II 2017
