Abstract

The economy of Central Java in Quarter II-2021 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB) reached Rp350,161.94 billion and at constant prices (ADHK) 2010 reached Rp247,004.14 billion.
Central Java's economy in the second quarter of 2021 grew by 5.66 percent (y-on-y), after experiencing contraction in the last four quarters. From the production side, growth was driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing business sector which grew by 85.43 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the component that experienced the highest increase occurred in the Export Component at 34.43 percent.
Compared to Quarter I-2021 (q-to-q), Central Java's economy in Quarter II-2021 grew by 1.03 percent. The Government Administration, Defense, and Mandatory Social Security business fields recorded the highest growth of 13.13 percent. On the expenditure side, all components grew positively, with the Government Consumption Expenditure component experiencing the highest growth, at 31.45 percent.
