Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS)

February 26, 2024 | Other Activities

In order to increase the effectiveness of the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) activities, on Monday (26/02), Batang Regency BPS together with the Batang Regency Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) and a number of OPD representatives held an EPSS coordination meeting at the Batang Regency Diskominfo Office. EPSS is a systematic assessment process through verification and validation of information on self-assessment results to measure the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics in a government agency.

In this meeting, the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi, provided remarks and introductory material regarding the urgency of EPSS. He also briefly explained the Statistical Development Index (IPS) which is one of the outputs of EPSS as well as an indicator that is a barometer of the success of implementing sectoral statistics from local government agencies. The event continued with a discussion of the scope of assessment in IPS which consists of 5 domains, 19 aspects and 38 indicators related to the One Data Indonesia (SDI) principle. Through this activity, it is hoped that the OPD will understand the essence of the IPS assessment and be able to properly prepare the supporting evidence needed for the assessment.
