Assistance from the Head of BPS on the Business Process for Susenas Activities in March 2024

BPS Batang Regency conducted the March 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the 2024 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti). The series of Susenas and Seruti field data collection activities began on February 1 2024, by carrying out household updates in selected Census Blocks. Furthermore, from the updated results, an enumeration was carried out on 830 selected sample households and then asked about their social, economic conditions and consumption behavior.

To monitor the quality of Susenas data, BPS Batang Regency conducted evaluations and inspections with inspection officers. Once the documents have been checked, data entry is then carried out by the data processing officer until they are clean and ready for further analysis.

Data and indicators from Susenas have been widely used and are seen as a survey that is rich in information for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs.
