2024 Agricultural Economic Survey Officer (SEP) Training Online

BPS Batang Regency held the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) Officer Training on May 27-30, 2024. This training used two learning methods, namely online learning on the first and second days, and face-to-face learning which took place at the Sendang Sari Batang Hotel on the third and fourth days.

The training was attended by 14 enumerators, 5 supervisors, 2 committees with 1 Regional Instructor. This training was held to provide officers with an understanding of concepts, definitions, data collection methodologies, and others which will later be applied in conducting field data collection. The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) is a series of activities for the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) which will be carried out throughout Indonesia. The Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) is one of the follow-up surveys after the complete ST2023 enumeration which is expected to be carried out periodically in accordance with the recommendations of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The main objective of SEP is to obtain economic data from agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators from agricultural business units in Indonesia.
