On Monday (03/06), BPS Batang Regency held an Evaluation Meeting for the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP). The meeting was held in the BPS Batang Regency Hall and chaired directly by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. This activity was attended by the Batang Regency BPS SEP Team including partner UTP SEP officers. This activity aims to identify problems in the field and discuss together the best solutions to these obstacles, both regarding methodology, coverage and consistency of filling in the questionnaire results from the initial enumeration.
In this evaluation, Djumadi conveyed the term DESA (Accompany, Evaluation, Sharing and Accuracy) as a step in ensuring data quality. PML is obliged to provide initial assistance in the first census to each enumerator (PPL). Then the Supervisor evaluates the results of the first enumeration interview and provides input on deficiencies for improvement in the next sample enumeration. After completing the interview, the documents were straightened out on the same day and the results were checked by PML and the results were conveyed to all officers. DESA is an innovation to improve the quality of SEP 2024 data.
Apart from that, it is important to be disciplined in monitoring the progress of data collection and also tiered reporting from PPL is submitted to PML and then forwarded to the 2024 SEP Admin to be reported to the Provincial/Central BPS.
Previously, on Saturday (01/06) the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi and the Head of the SEP 2024 Team, Setiawan Budi Santoso assisted in the first SEP2024 census in Ponowareng Village, Tulis District.
