BPS Batang Regency held a Socialization and Determination of Public Services on Thursday (4/7) involving representatives of stakeholders, academics, entrepreneurs, NGOs, mass media and the general public. This activity aims to convey forms of public services, especially data services and jointly validate Public Service Standards that need to be updated.
The event was opened by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. In his speech, Djumadi said that this public service is a mandate from Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. BPS Batang Regency is committed to implementing this mandate by building a standard public service delivery system that provides legal protection and certainty to the community.
The next event was a presentation of material by Gilang Alip Utama, Young Expert Statistics of BPS Batang Regency. In his presentation, Gilang conveyed various types of statistical services that could be accessed by the public. There are also several innovations carried out by BPS Batang Regency to be closer to data users, including SISWA Batang (Statistical Information System via WhatsApp) and the Gelatik website (Gemari Statistical Literacy).
Furthermore, the presentation of the BPS Batang Regency Public Service Standards by Anis Yuliastuti, Young Expert Statistics of BPS Batang Regency for further discussion and determination together. Stakeholders and the public are expected to provide input and suggestions for BPS so that it can provide maximum services in the future.
The event closed with the signing of the Minutes of Determination of Public Services by representatives of stakeholders, academics, entrepreneurs, NGOs, mass media and the general public.
