Presentation of the 2024 Statistical Development Index Award

On Thursday, (3/10) the Batang Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) together with the Batang Regency Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) held a working visit to the PJ Regent of Batang at the Regent's official residence. This meeting aims to coordinate the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) 2024.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi, presented a report on the Evaluation Results of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) 2024 carried out by BPS. This activity aims to ensure that each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) is able to collect, manage and utilize statistical data in accordance with established national standards.

This assessment not only includes the completeness of the data, but also the ease with which the data can be accessed by the public and used to design development policies. The Batang Regency Government (Pemkab) received the Statistical Development Index (IPS) award with a "Good" predicate of 2.78 points, which is above the average for districts/cities in Central Java.

The Acting Regent of Batang, Lani Dwi Rejeki, expressed his gratitude and congratulations for the achievements obtained by the Batang Regency Government through the Batang Regency Communication and Information Office. This result cannot be separated from the good contribution and collaboration between BPS Batang Regency and Diskominfo Batang Regency together with the relevant OPD.

With these results, the Batang Regency Government shows a strong commitment to implementing one data. He emphasized that the Batang Regency Government has good human resource potential and infrastructure so that this large capacity must be maximized. This achievement can be a motivation to increase the title to very satisfactory in the coming year.
