BPS Batang Regency participated in the Simultaneous Consultation in Preparation for the Release of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) Data for Regency/City Quarterly 2024 on Tuesday-Wednesday, October 22-23, 2024. Taking place at the KHAS Semarang Hotel, this activity lasted for two days and was attended by the Head of BPS Regency/City and the person in charge of GRDP for regencies/cities throughout Central Java. This event was opened directly by the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih.

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is the outlet of all economic data used to measure economic growth in a region over a certain period of time. This economic indicator is used as one of the bases for evaluating the development process in the region. With the increasing awareness of statistics from local governments, BPS strives to meet the need for quarterly economic indicator data for regencies/cities through calculating quarterly GRDP for regencies/cities.

Through the Simultaneous Consultation in Preparation for the Release of Quarterly Regency/City GRDP Data for 2024, it is hoped that the quality of the GRDP data produced will be better, and the competence of the provincial and district/city GRDP preparation teams will also increase.
