Batang Regency Quarterly Economic Growth Preparation Meeting

Wednesday (7/8/2024) The Central Statistics Agency of Batang Regency held a Meeting to Prepare Quarterly Economic Growth of Batang Regency. The event was held in the BPS Hall of Batang Regency which was opened by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi S.ST and attended by the BPS Batang Regency team, 7 Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and 2 Companies.

In his remarks, Djumadi said that quarterly economic growth data at the district level is something new, so data support from OPDs and Companies is needed in order to be able to capture the economic conditions of Batang Regency accurately and precisely.

The speaker at this activity was the Young Statistician of BPS Batang Regency who is also the Head of the Consumption Balance and Analysis Team, Sri Winarsih, S.Si, M.Ec.Dev. Furthermore, a discussion session was opened regarding the availability of data that must be collected in preparing the Quarterly Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) of Batang Regency. In this session, several OPDs and Companies were divided into Teams accompanied by one PIC (Person In Charge) from BPS Batang Regency.

It is hoped that with the implementation of this event, good cooperation will be established with related parties, so that supporting data for calculating quarterly economic growth can be collected more accurately and with quality.
