Hi data friends, did you know that today is celebrated as United Nations (UN) Day? The UN is an international organization founded in 1945. The UN aims to maintain peace, human rights, development, and international cooperation. The UN was formed after the failure of the LBB (League of Nations) in maintaining world peace. This organization was formed through the United Nations Conference on International Organization held in San Francisco, California, USA, on April 25–June 26, 1945.

The establishment of this organization was initially aimed at ending war and realizing world peace. One way to do this is by formulating an agreement that can be agreed upon by the whole world.

Indonesia officially became a member of the UN on September 28, 1950 as the 60th member. Currently, the UN has 193 member countries. With the spirit of peace and togetherness, let's make this UN Day a reminder to continue working together in building a better, more peaceful, and more just world for all.
