BPS Head's Assistance in Rice Tiling Survey

In order to improve the accuracy of rice production data, the Batang Regency BPS Team led directly by the Head of Batang Regency BPS, Heni Djumadi, conducted the 2024 Subround 3 Rice Tiling Survey in Brayo Village, Wonotunggal District. The activity carried out on Thursday (5/12) involved direct measurement of rice productivity in the field. The Head of Brayo Village, Mr. Amirudin, and the tile respondent, Mrs. Wahyu, welcomed the arrival of the BPS team.

During the survey, Djumadi emphasized the importance of following the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), starting from random sample selection to detailed data recording. This aims to ensure that the data obtained is truly representative and reliable.

By conducting direct measurements in the field, the data obtained will be more accurate and reliable compared to farmer estimates. The rice productivity data obtained from this survey is very important for various purposes, such as production planning, evaluation of agricultural programs, and the preparation of policies that are more targeted and have an impact on improving farmer welfare and regional food security.
