Data friends, did you know that every February 21st is commemorated as National Waste Awareness Day? Caring for waste is part of caring for yourself and the environment.

Sorting waste is a small step but has a big impact. Sorting waste makes it easier to manage and reduces air pollution from mixed waste. Waste management has become a global and national issue that is still being resolved.

Based on data from the 2024 Village Potential Data Collection, there are 192 out of a total of 248 villages/sub-districts in Batang Regency that process/recycle waste/waste.

Let's continue to increase awareness and real action for waste management and a healthier earth.
