Hello Data Friends!
Did you know that Indonesian Workers' Day is set on February 20? This Workers' Day commemoration was first initiated in 2015 by the Minister of Manpower, Hanif Dhakiri, during the administration of President Joko Widodo. February 20 is a moment to appreciate all workers in Indonesia who have made extraordinary contributions to the development of the country. Indonesian Workers' Day was initiated as a form of appreciation for all workers in Indonesia, not only for laborers but also employees in various sectors.
Why is Indonesian Workers' Day important?
- As a form of respect for the dedication of workers in various sectors,
- Reminding the importance of welfare and harmonious work relations, and
- Encouraging work enthusiasm and professionalism in the world of work.
The results of the BPS Sakernas noted that the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) of Batang Regency in 2024 increased. TPAK in August 2024 was 77.91 percent, up 1.29 percentage points compared to August 2023. TPAK is the percentage of the workforce to the working age population.
