Abstract

Based on the Forecast Figures (ARAM) II, Central Java Province's rice production in 2015 is estimated at 11.05 million tons of Dry Milled Grain (GKG). Rice production shows an increase of 14.48 percent (1.40 million tons) when compared to the 2014 Fixed Figures (ATAP) of 9.65 million tons. The increase in rice production is influenced by the addition of 3.80 percent of the harvest area, namely from 1.80 million hectares in 2014 to 1.87 million hectares in 2015 or an increase of 68.40 thousand hectares.
