Abstract

The workforce in Central Java in August 2016 was 17.31 million people, down by around 602 thousand people compared to the workforce in February 2016 and up by 14 thousand people compared to August 2015.

The working population in Central Java in August 2016 was 16.51 million people, up by around 76 thousand people compared to the situation in August 2015 and down by around 651 thousand people compared to February 2016.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Central Java in August 2016 was 4.63 percent, down by 0.36 percent compared to the TPT in August 2015 (4.99 percent) and up by 0.43 percent compared to the TPT in February 2016 (4.20 percent).
