Abstract

The ITK value in Central Java in Quarter III-2017 was 110.47, which means that the economic conditions of households in Central Java have increased compared to the previous quarter. The increase in the economic conditions of households is mainly due to the increase in household income, which is now reflected in the index value of 110.24. The volume of consumption of goods and services also drives the consumer economy, as reflected in the consumption volume index of 104.74. Meanwhile, although prices tend to increase in this quarter, it does not affect public consumption. This is reflected in the index figure for the influence of inflation on consumption which remains high, namely 115.42. The ITK value of Central Java in Quarter IV-2017 is estimated at 111.73, meaning that consumers perceive their economic conditions to have increased, more optimistic than in Quarter II 2017.
