Abstract

In June 2019 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.60 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 135.16. Inflation occurred in six SBH cities in Central Java

The calendar year inflation rate in June 2019 was 1.64 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2019 to June 2018) was 2.52 percent.

The main cause of inflation in Central Java in June 2019 was the increase in the price of red chilies, intercity transportation, shallots, coconuts and petai. The inflation rate was restrained by the decrease in the price of garlic, chicken eggs, rice, young jackfruit and tilapia.
