Workshop on Sectoral Statistics Development and Declaration of Statistical Love Village

Tuesday (11/6), BPS Batang Regency held a Workshop on Sectoral Statistics Development and the Declaration of the 2024 Statistics Love Village (Beautiful Village) at the Sendangsari Hotel. The event began with remarks by the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. In his remarks, Djumadi briefly conveyed the journey of the Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Development in Batang Regency which has currently reached the stage of completing the assessment by the Agency Assessment Team (TPB). It was conveyed that the results of the EPSS, the value of the Batang Regency Statistical Development Index (IPS) in 2023 was 2.07. This figure is higher than the average achievement of the National, Provincial Government, and City Regency Government. Moreover The results of the 2023 Statistical Love Village Development in Brokoh Village, Wonotunggal District, which won the 3 Best Additional Beautiful Villages in Central Java in 2023 were also presented.

Furthermore, the event was opened by Pj Bulati Batang, Dra. Lani Dwi Rejeki, M.M. as well as the delivery of directions by Lani. In her direction, Lani said that statistical data is the backbone in making government policies. The achievement of social studies is proof of Batang Regency's strong commitment to developing accurate and reliable statistics. Lani also expressed her hope that with the election of Banteng Village, Tersono District as a Beautiful Village in 2024, it can become a pioneer so that in the future there will be a Beautiful Village in every sub-district.

The event continued with Sectoral Statistics Development with the resource person for Statistics Young Experts of BPS Central Java Province, Medha Wardhani, SST., M.Si.
