On Tuesday (6/8) the Batang Regency BPS Team attended the 2024 Production Statistics Activity Completion Workshop which was held at the Harris Hotel Semarang. The workshop was attended by the Production Statistics, Industrial Statistics and Advanced ST2023 Publication Phase II Dissemination Team from all Regencies/Cities in Central Java Province.
On this occasion, the Head of BPS for Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, said that BPS's position as a provider of statistical data is now increasingly strategic. Endang also underlined that every statistical person needs to continue to improve their competence considering the increasingly complex challenges ahead, especially in ensuring public satisfaction with the data and products produced by BPS. "Central Java BPS is a booster for BPS throughout Indonesia, so our performance must be representative and extraordinary," emphasized Endang.
On this occasion, Central Java Province BPS also gave awards to the performance of the 2024 Semester I Production and Industrial Team through 21 award categories. From 21 categories, BPS Batang Regency was able to win 5 awards, including:
1. General Champion III in Production Statistics Activities
2. Best I Horticultural Statistics Category Number of Respondents Less than 200
3. Best I Fisheries Statistics Small Sample Group Category
4. Best II Statistics for Medium Large Industries, and
5. Best III Plantation Statistics Category Number of Respondents Less than or equal to 20.
The award was received directly by Cisworejo as Chair of the PPH and INPEK Team and Setiawan Budi Santoso as Chair of the Batang Regency BPS Agriculture, Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Census Team. Hopefully this award can be a motivation to continue moving forward for quality data. We would also like to express our thanks to the Batang Regency BPS partners who are always excellent in collecting data in the field as well as the respondents who have been cooperative in data collection.
