In order to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 H, BPS Batang Regency held a Special Study Welcoming Ramadan on Friday (28/02) at the BPS Batang Regency Hall. This event was attended by all employees, members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) BPS Batang, as well as students and interns. This activity was carried out after morning exercise together, creating a fresh and enthusiastic atmosphere.
The event was opened with the reading of the holy verses of the Qur'an by an intern, Fitra, followed by remarks from the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi. In his remarks, Djumadi expressed his gratitude and joy for the implementation of this study activity. This activity is not only a place for spiritual reflection ahead of Ramadan, but also as a form of balance between work routines and improving the quality of worship.
As the peak of the event, a sermon was delivered by Ustadz Ahmad Assabty, who reminded the importance of physical and mental readiness in welcoming Ramadan. Ustadz Sabty invited all participants to not only perform fasting and other obligatory worship with the best effort, but also to increase sunnah practices, such as tarawih prayers, the reward of which is equal to obligatory worship outside of Ramadan. In addition, Ustadz Sabty also emphasized the importance of maintaining the level of piety after Ramadan, as the philosophy of a caterpillar that goes through a cocoon phase before turning into a beautiful butterfly.
In closing, all participants forgave each other, creating a warm and familial atmosphere, as a symbol of readiness to welcome the holy month with a clean heart. May this year's Ramadan bring blessings to all of us, strengthen our faith, and make us more steadfast to become better people.
