Ramadan is almost over, but there is one practice that we must not forget, namely zakat fitrah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made it obligatory for every Muslim, without exception, both men and women, old and young. Not just an obligation, zakat fitrah is the perfecting of our fasting worship. It cleanses the soul from small mistakes/oversights that we may have made during Ramadan and becomes a way to share happiness with our brothers and sisters in need.

Don't let us be busy with Eid preparations but forget to fulfill the rights of our brothers and sisters in need. Immediately fulfill it before the Eid prayer, so that it truly becomes a blessing, not just ordinary charity. Ramadan will go, but may our deeds remain remembered by Allah. Barakallahufiikum.
