On Monday (26/2), the Head of BPS Batang Regency, Heni Djumadi, had the opportunity to visit the Economic and Natural Resources (SDA) Section of the Batang Regency Secretariat. This visit was intended as a return visit considering that a few days earlier the Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Section of the Batang Regency Secretariat, Suwanto, visited the BPS Batang Regency office to conduct a consultation regarding the development of the Price Development Index (IPH) data.

On this occasion, Heni Djumadi also explained the phenomenon behind the current increase in rice prices, mainly caused by potential crop failure factors and planting season disruptions sourced from BPS Area Sample Framework (KSA) data. The discussion continued with a discussion of the initial coordination of the Price Development Index (IPH) socialization activities planned to be held in early March. Hopefully, this well-established collaboration can continue to be fostered.
