National Children's Day
July 23, 2024 | Other Activities
Hello data friends! Did you know that July 23 is celebrated as National Children's Day? 🎉
National Children's Day was first celebrated on July 23 1979, to coincide with the ratification of Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 44 of 1984 concerning Child Welfare by President Soeharto. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of children's welfare and rights in Indonesia.
The main aim of National Children's Day is to ensure that every child gets their rights to education, health, protection and participation in various aspects of life. Apart from that, today is also a momentum for all of us to reflect on the efforts that have been made to provide a safe and supportive environment for the growth and development of children.
Related to this, from data from the BPS Socio-Economic Survey it is known that in 2023 as many as 97.32 percent of the population of Batang Regency aged 0-17 years will be recorded as having a birth certificate.
Happy National Children's Day! Let's together create a better future for Indonesian children.
