Hello data friends! Did you know that August 5 is celebrated as National Dharma Wanita Day?

Based on the official Dharma Wanita website, this organization was founded on August 5 1974. It is known that Dharma Wanita is an organization consisting of the wives of Civil Servants (PNS). In 1998, the organization underwent significant changes. Dharma Wanita was transformed into a social organization that was free from politics, independent and democratic, and its name was changed to Dharma Wanita Perempuan.

The DWP organization can contribute to protecting, empowering and advancing women, especially ASN wives, in accordance with one of the organization's goals, namely increasing community participation and empowerment. Based on data from SAKERNAS (National Labor Force Survey), the percentage of women working as professionals has increased from year to year. In 2023, the percentage of women as professionals will be 59.02 percent. This achievement increased by 13.26 percentage points compared to conditions in 2021.
